Madonna, Muscles, and McCain...Oh My

Madonna put down her 100 pound barbells to kick off her Sweet and Sticky (coincidentally Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton's nicknames) tour, and E! Online reports that it began with what has now become a predictable amount of controversy.  Yawn.  Hey Madonna, is that a microphone in your pants or are you just happy to see us?

Here's the scoop: 

She started the drama with a couple of political montages during her song "Get Stupid." The video interlude features images of destruction, global warming, Adolf Hitler and John McCain (uh-oh!), then goes on to include John Lennon, Al Gore, Gandhi and Barack Obama (oh crap!).

Naturally, McCain’s people are pissed, and they let her know how not cool her little video is in this statement:

“The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time. It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off-limits.”

I mean, I get that the whole Hitler thing is outrageously offensive, but what really would have hit home more is if she featured McCain with the Grim Reaper looming in the background.  And is it just me, or did you think this photo was the controversial part?  It's a man, baby!
